Overview

Image Optimize is a browser-based image optimization tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. We also store preferences you configure, such as your theme setting and optimization defaults.

Images you upload are processed on our servers only for the duration of the optimization request. After an optimization request, we store metadata about the request for the purposes of tracking usage. We do not store your images after processing is complete.

How we use your data

We use your email to send account-related communications such as receipts and billing notifications. We do not sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.

Third-party services

We use Polar for payment processing. Their privacy policy governs how they handle any data shared with them during billing. We do not store your payment card details.

Data retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Account page, which will permanently remove your data from our systems.
